Brawal Shipping(Nigeria) Limited has evolved a new management team of experts that have distinguished themselves in the industry to ensure better service to exporters and importers alike. The company is blessed with management experts in the Shipping Industry under the leadership of Chief (Dr) Victor I. Odili, OON.

Chairman/Chief Executive

Chief (Dr.) Victor I. Odili, OON, was educated at Corydon Technical College, London and the London School of Economics where he obtained his first degree. He joined Lonhro limited in London and later deployed to Beirut, Lebanon, where he served for many years. He thereafter ventured into private business and later became the Chairman of Brawal shipping Nigeria Ltd a subsidiary of Aeromaritime Group of Companies. He is a Director of many successful Companies in both Nigeria and overseas.

Executive Director/CCO

Michael Odili joined Brawal Shipping (Nig.) Ltd full-time in 2006 after obtaining a Master in Finance from The George Washington University, Washinton, DC, USA. At the start of 2010, his executive remit was expanded to Commercial and Business Development. Michael has previously worked with Smith Barney and Britches of Georgetowne, INC.

Group Head of Administration, Personnel

Sylvester U. Agbotian a PGD in Personnel Management, a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN). He has attended several seminars and workshops in Human Resources Management. A team player with over fifteen years of cognate experience as Human Resources Manager  in Churis Industries Nigeria Ltd, Kristen Turner, etc.

Group Chief Accountant

Felix J. Balogun He studied Accountancy in both the Yaba College of Technology and the Imo state University where he obtained his HND and respectively. He is a member of the institute of chartered accountants of Nigeria. He is an articulate and unassuming accountant with many years of professional experience in Insurance, HMO and the Shipping industries amongst which are Hull Blyth Nigeria, Royal Exchange Healthcare and Sa Insurance. He also holds a master degree in business administration from the University of Calabar and has attended several courses on management, taxation and accountancy.


Head of Operations 

Victor Onwusah (CITLS)

Victor has a BSc (Political and Administration Studies) from the University of Port Harcourt, MPA from Lagos State University and a PGD in Port and Shipping Management from the National Institute of Transport Technology (NITT) Zaria. He is an expert in trade logistics; an International Import-Export Institute (IIEI) Arizona, USA and the Center for Supply Chains/Mutilmix Academy Nigeria certified. 

He has attended several HSE development trainings. An active member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport-CILT (International). He has worked in Hull Blyth Nigeria Ltd, Liner Division as the export sales manager and has over 15 years experience in Shipping and Logistics Industry. 


Head, Clearing and Forwarding 

Ossai Christopher

Christopher holds a Master Degree in Transportation Management (MTM), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Shipping of Nigeria (FCIS), Member of Institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria. He has over 16 years experience in the maritime industry most of which are spent in cargo logistics operation and management. He is also an HSE certified personnel. He has attended several courses and seminars in shipping and safety administration.


Branch Manager (Port Harcourt) 


Afam is a professional Banker with many years cognate experience in finance and management. He is an Associate member of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN),Associate Nigeria Chartered Institute of Management  ( NCIM ) and Certified Micro Finance Practitioner (CMP). Afam is also HND holder in Accountancy and Masters in It’ll Relation with Lagos State University.

He started his working carrier with UBA Plc where he served meritoriously for over 18 years at both senior and Mgt. Level.  He was the Regional Head of Operations with Integrated Micro Finance Bank plc (IMFB) from 2007 – 2009 and MD Bancorp Micro Finance Bank Ltd from 2009 to may 2011 before  joining  Aero maritime Group of Companies  in June 2011.
